Jemma O’Brien
Jemma has completed her Bachelor of Laws with Honours. She is now a Solicitor specialising in the areas of Criminal Law and Traffic Law in the Hunter region.
Jemma commenced her legal education at the University of Newcastle in 2015. It was there that Jemma discovered her passion for human rights and Criminal Law. In 2021, Jemma completed her combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law (with Honours). During her time at University, Jemma completed the Diploma of Legal Practice Program, where she experienced hands on legal experience at the Newcastle University Law School and O’Brien Winter Partners over a period of two years.
Jemma joined O’Brien Winter Partners during her studies in 2021. In early 2022, Jemma was admitted as a Practitioner of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Since then, Jemma has appeared in the Local Court, District Court and Supreme Court. Jemma’s approachable attitude allows her to build rapport with her clients whilst exploring legal solutions.
